Gap
The Gap is the name of the youth group which caters for those in school years 7-9 (11-14yrs). The Sunday sessions aim to encourage and equip those who are already Christians and to give those who are not yet Christians a chance to continue to investigate the Christian faith for themselves. Gap attendees leave the main service at 11.05am, the same time as the rest of the children. The Gap group also meet after the evening service on the first Sunday of every month for food, drink and a chance to ask any questions about the service. In addition, the Gap group have a Friday night meeting which takes place at the school from 7 - 9pm. This meet has a stronger social element, together with teaching and discussion.
Plunge
The Plunge is for all those young people in school years 10-13 (14-18yrs). Some of the young people choose to come to a session whilst others stay in the main service. It is largely dependant on the individual. As a rough guide those in years 10 and 11 are encouraged to attend a session designed for them whilst those who have left school and are either in a form of further education or at work will choose to stay in the main service. The Plunge also meets each week after the evening service at one of the leaders houses. The young people meet together for food and drink as well as a time of discussing and applying the sermon and praying for each other.<> In addition, the Plunge group have a Friday night meeting which takes place at the school from 7.30 - 9.30pm. This meeting has a stronger social element, together with teaching and discussion.
