The eveni... For 40 years Cornerstone has grown numerically and spiritually as a church. We trust God to continue to develop us as a centre for biblical teaching, fellowship, and mission at home and abroad.
For the past 14 years, Cornerstone Church has been meeting in rented school premises and has grown to a congregation of about 750 people. This situation is due to end with the redevelopment of the School at the beginning of 2010. We are therefore searching for land on which to build church premises to resource us in our vision for the next 100 years of reaching and teaching generations to come.
We believe that today’s larger churches are unique in the strategy of God at this time. Our nation and its cities need the Church of Christ in its midst to be audible and visible in its worship, work and witness in the world. God has a people not yet saved in its schools and its neighbourhoods, its universities and its workplaces. We must reach them. What we seek to build will be a meeting place of nations, and a centre of teaching and worship, fellowship and mission.
